key remote will not work

I have replaced the battery on it. i can still drive and use my car fine but i have to lock it manually from inside every time i get out and unlock it with the key hole from the door but it causes the alarm to go off every time and it drives me insane. pleas help, if you can help me reset it that would be great because i don't want to waste time or money going to a mechanic if i can do it myself.

Sometimes these fob's fail or the module responsible for getting the signal from the fob fails. Do you have multiple remotes that do not work or just one? If there are more than one then you probably need to replace the module. However, to determine this we need to monitor it with a scan tool. I attached the testing that we need to follow.

Unfortunately with this being a newer vehicle the options are limited for do it your selfers but if you have access to a tool that can read the modules then we can figure this out.
