Are you saying the 125-amp fuse blows intermittently? That fuse feeds the rear fuse box. That fuse box handles over a dozen circuits, but they all are protected by their own smaller fuses. The largest are a few 30-amp fuses. Anything shorted in one of those circuits would blow its own dedicated fuse. The only thing that can blow the 125-amp fuse is the red wire feeding that fuse box has to be shorted to ground. Typical suspects would be the wire is in a harness that has been sliding back and forth against sheet metal when the engine rocks or the body vibrates, or the wire became pinched under something like a running board bracket, and things like that.

I am still not clear on whether that fuse blew. Sometimes computers can be reset by disconnecting the negative battery cable for a minute. Removing the fuse can do that too, but replacing the fuse because it blew vs. removing and reinstalling it are totally different symptoms.

What does "square one" mean? Is that where the dash and lights were out? If so, we will need a voltmeter to take some measurements.

Why did you remove that fuse? Is doing that what got everything working one time or was that fuse blown?
