Hi guys, I recently started having issues with my key fob and push button start, the issue is I have to hold the fob up to the push button in order for it to start, before I never had to do that, I replaced the key fob battery and it made no difference, I tried a resetting procedure and it did nothing, the key fob won't lock or unlock the vehicle at all, nor will any of the dome lights come on anymore even if I try to manually turn them on, it also doesn't display the normal things on the dash like it did like low tire pressure (I have a tire with a slow leak) I can't find anything online about it except the receiver is possibly bad, is there any thing I can try to do to get this back to normal? Thanks!

Yes, I would do a hard system reboot, this guide can show you how. This will allow the CAN BUS and other modules to reset, which may fix the problem.

If this doesn't help, we should do a CAN scan because it does sound like the BCM or the NATS antenna amplifier may be going out which should show up during the scan. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) which will work on most cars from Amazon.

Here is a video to show you how:

Here is the location of the NATS AA so you can check it out, I have seen these fail before.

NATS Antenna Amp.

The ID verification is performed between BCM and transponder integrated into Intelligent Key via NATS antenna amp. when Intelligent Key backside is contacted to push-button ignition switch in case that Intelligent. Key battery is discharged. If the ID verification result is OK, the operation of ignition switch is available.

Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
