At 35,415 miles with faithful oil changes. Had to replace Vanos intake and exhaust solenoid. Keep or get rid of it?

That is a tough one for me to answer. If the vehicle is in good condition, you should not have any additional issues. However, anything is possible with any vehicle. Honestly, if you like the car, keep it. If not, then consider getting rid of it. Any more, there are so many different component systems on vehicles, there always seems to be something failing regardless of manufacturer.
