Jerking of back tires when I drive forward and when I accelerate

I thought in the beginning that my back right tire felt a little wobbly after an elderly man hit my car in a parking lot . My right back tire is what took the hit I believe as the damage I could see to my car was hardly anything at all.
My husband drove the car and didn't feel anything wrong said it was fine .
Now I feel like my tires in the back especially the left back tire is jerking when I drive forward and when I accelerate.
There is not any wobbling or jerking or shaking in my steering wheel at all.
I have had a vehicle before with a death warble and this does not feel the same.
Please help what could this be

Sounds like the axle is shifted or the wheels are at least not spinning true.

Do you feel this at any speed? Were any repairs made or parts replaced as a result of this? Clearly there was damage done so I would suggest contacting the persons insurance (hopefully you got their info). Then they will have it checked out but if I were you, I would get more estimates then just where they send you.

Also, you could lift the rear end and spin the wheels by hand and see if they are spinning straight. If not, then we have something bent.
