At random times (bust mostly in 2nd gear), when I press and stay on the gas, the Jeep will accelerate, then stop accelerating, accelerate again, then stop again, and start accelerating again, and stop, and keep going like this.
Also, when I try to start the engine it takes a few times (aprrox 4 key turns and holding) for it to start. THe first key turn will turn up nothing. Then before it starts, it sounds as if its struggling to stay alive and then dies. Then I will start it again and it will finally start.
It seems as if the two are related and they are gradually getting worse and worse.
Please any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
