My jeep has been stalling when coming to a stop both in gear and out of gear. It does it every once in a while. What could be the problem??

Check the idle air control valve/motor/ISC, throttle position sensor, PCV and EGR valves

you jeep is an 88, carburated. you probably need to replace your carb, look into doing an mc2100 swap and nutter bypass, that fixed mine instantly and made it better
