Coolant Leak and Engine Idle Problem

Do you know where the water is going? Oil pan, or being burned?

Either way, if it is the V6 engine you have, then it is probably a leaking intake manifold gasket or possibly a head gasket.
If you have the 4 cylinder, then it most likely is your head gasket.

Check your oil cap and your exhaust.
White smoke or milky looking under the cap.

Do you think the low idle could be related to the coolant leak a la the o2 sensor perhaps?

I would say the two problems are probably not related. However, if you dont address the coolant leak, you may end up doing more damage to the engine.
