rear brakes worn out at 24000. Front brakes barely warn. Is this a manuf. defect?

no... very common... its also common on ford f 250s and up.... rears are lasting half the time as the fronts...

I noticed that Ford had a bulletin about rears wearing out faster. Any bulletin on wranglers?

i havnt seen a bulletin on them yet, also havnt probed around it.... all i can say is i have seen numerous rear brakes spent on the newer wranglers way before the fronts.... its not uncommon..

I have the same 2008 Jeep Wrangler and at 25,200 miles the rear brake pads are spent and front are about half?? I find this odd??? After reading some of the letters it seems this in the norm?? Or there's a problem that hasn't been agreed on yet?? Just thinking out loud I guess.... Thanks for this site.. I've gottin alot of infor over time.. I really mean that... Thanks again, Carlos
