2003 Jeep Wrangler Hissing Noise behind dash

Hissing noise behind dash after engine starts. Heater controls have no effect on noise but heater functions appear normal. No apparent moisture or visual from heater core. Core appears to be OK.
Hissing continues for 10 seconds after ignition is turned off.
I thought damper acuator hose or other vacuum items?
Please advise.

How about the brake booster? That's the big player for vacuum in the area.
You can pinch off the hose going to it to test that.
