2002 Jeep Wrangler Steering wheel locked

Have you tried turning the wheel while you turn the key? sometimes if the lock assembly has a lot of tension on it, it is hard to get the key to turn.Otherwise you will need to remove the steering wheel (special puller and air bag needs to be disabled) to see what has broke to keep the lock engaged
