My Jeep is leaking Transmission fluid, and I've been told it is leaking from the front. (I haven't been able to see it for myself.) It doesn't get driven too much right now because of gas prices and how long of a drive I have at the moment, but I want to keep it for sentimental reasons and I want to make the needed repairs. I was wondering how much it would cost to get fixed. I have called and asked around and I have heard everything from $10.00 to $800.00 and now I'm even more confused. Because of my extremely busy schedule, and how far I live away from town, I haven't been able to take it anywhere yet. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them and what info, or advice you could offer.
Thanks,

Bianca

If it's from a cooling line, should not be too bad, if it's the front seal, it has to be removed from the Jeep and the pump has to be taken out...that's your 800.00 price I'm sure, so it really depends WHAT is leaking.
