1999 Jeep Wrangler slave cylinder

Having issues with my jeep I have replaced the slave cylinder and while doing this the bleeder screw wouldnt open somthing was over the hole and I wasnt sure if I should perice it?
after manully pumping the cylinder and removing air i'm still experiancing not being able to put the jeep in gear, it seems like the fork isnt releasing pressure on the on the plate

need your advice

See my profile. Not familiar w/ your rig. Saw your answer was slow, so I jumped in.

A manual for your rig, might work wonders for you, about $30 at Autozone or Advance Auto!!!

I traveled to 'Zone/ Advance/ Napa online, Pics not good enough to see bleeder.

Definitly need to bleed, how did the old one work?

Maybe its just a shipping, rubber cap, over bleeder.

At minimum, TRY THIS make-shift method:

!st Body, PUMPS Clutch 10-12 times, on last stroke, HOLDS to floor.

2nd Body breaks Line/ Hose loose on Slave (furtherest down the line, from clutch master cylinder).........Letting AIR/ fluid expell, (at least, this far down the line).

As soon as sputter stops, tighten hose back up.

Then alert 1st body, to pump 10-12 times and HOLD, again,

Do this over and over, until you are satisfied NO MORE AIR WILL COME OUT.

Keep RESERVOIR, FULL AT ALL TIMES ! ! !
