1999 Jeep Wrangler Replacing Seals

1999 Jeep Wrangler 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive

I just purchased two seals. One is a tail gate seal and the other seal goes between the tailgate and rear lift window. I was hoping to get some direction as to how to remove the old seals and install the new ones.

I have limited body experience, but usually the seals are in a track that they pop into.Once you remove the old ones ( pull out) clean the track good and use a weatherstrip adhesive in there to help keep the new one in.Once in, use baby powder all over the seal before you close the door, this will help the new seal not stick to the door and pull out, the door should stay shut for a day or two, long as lossible for the adhesive to set
