Thank you for your service.
Three days ago I noticed that my jeep started "buckeing or Pulsing as I throttled up to speed. It doesn't do it with the clutch in and the engine idling, at any speed.
It does it when the engine is under load, especailly when going up a hill.
Timing is everything. I just replaced the water pump, both radiator hoses, the radiator and the serpentine belt. All seems well there. Not sure it would have any effect on it anyway.
Put a code reader on it and there were no found problems. I even replaced the plugs, wires, rotor and cap. It still surges and bucks like it did before.
How about Cat converter or oxygen sensors fore and aft the converter? Ther were no codes found for them.
The 98 does not have a MAF sensor or equal that I could see.
Thanks
