1997 Jeep Wrangler swaybar link replacement

See my profile, It has never been published anywhere (to protect him), who the idiot was who decided to completely build Jeeps, using "TORX" head fasteners. I would hunt him down myself, If I knew! As I remove these EVIL fasteners, I replace them with "REAL" hex headed bolts.....Even in stainless on my windshield hinges, etc, or before I install aftermarket stuff that comes with them, Torx stuff, gets thrown across the woods! Heres how you get them out or back-hold them: 1) Use "TORX" BIT (also called Tool) 2) Sometimes a "ALLEN WRENCH" will turn them 3) "VISE-GRIPS" standard or needle-nose, will hold around the edges of the fastener sometimes to keep them still. 4) On stubborn bolts (like differential covers), Grab the "torx bit" with vise-grips (instead of using a ratchet).....insert bit into fastener and pull slight, removal pressure w/ the vise grips, AS YOU HAMMER the BIT (where ratchet plugs in) With a hammer. Sorta like an impact driver.(not too much pressure, alot of hammering, You do get the hang of it, soon) 5) My Favorite, Big drill bit (size of bolts shaft) Drill until head is gone, then pull shaft thru!
