Lately I have been hearing a clunking coming from my jeep when I turn but only when i'm on an incline or decline. When i'm on a smooth flat surface I don't hear anything, even while in 4wd.

I thought at first that it might be the tie rod end that connects at the pitman arm because it seemed worn but I still hear the same clunking even after I replaced it. all other tie rods seem to be fine and well greased.

any ideas on what it might be?

Have you checked the ball joints? Also, make sure the tracking arms are in good condition as well as the axle joints.
