1995 Jeep Wrangler Heater blowing cold air

When I now put the heat on in the Jeep it blows cold air. It worked in the morning and didnt work when I started the car later that day. Temperature guage seems to be working and car not overheating and evel on coolant is good. Periodically air will blow lukewarm, but not long. Any advice would help. I appreciate it!

The same coolant passes through a small radiator that releases heat. If it suddenly stops it could be a couple of things. You mention temp. gauge seems normal, or just seems to be working, big difference, it should climb at least one-third, this is normal after 25 minutes. Also on most, a cable moves a door, its attached with an adjustment, it goes out of adjustment, also the small heat exchanger can become clogged. There is a valve used for allowing coolant into your climate control unit called a heater control valve, it can be vacuum operated. Its usually a thermostat or cable, vacuum problem. Good vehicle. Good luck to ya. later If your truck has auto temp. its a whole new set of motors, actuators and uses circuitry just like all the other computer controlled systems, it stores fault codes allowing diagnostics, wish you the best. k
