1995 Jeep Wrangler Door Lock Problem

Are the lock cylinders in the door vertical and straight up and down?? Sometimes the cyl's turn in the door and therefore takes all the movement in that direction away from the key. Meaning you can turn the key one way but not the other. Hope i made that understandable. If they cyl's look like they are in the right position than i would pull the door panel and inspect the operating rods for the locks. Hope this post helps and please advise as to what you find. Curt
