1995 Jeep Wrangler back up

i have a 95 jeep wrangler

the back up lights dont work

i changed the bulbs and checked the fuses we also put a new switch in the transmission i am in a corner and dont know what else to do with it.

i will greatly appreciate any and all help

Check the dark blue/white wire on the trans switch for power with key on.If no power check fuse 9 (15 amp) if ok and has power the violet wire on the neutral safety switch(trans) should go hot when in neutral, if not the switch is bad. If it does there is a probelm between the switch and bulbs.
