1989 Jeep Wrangler shakes violently

i just insalled a new front axle u joint it cured the noise but now got a new problem it shakes violently at 35-40mph i used a chilton did it by the book what couldve i done wrong? please help

I don't know if you have found any answers but I had the same problem recently and it was the steering damper aka stabilizer! It took me too long to find this answer for myself so good luck!
