Engine Mechanical problem
1989 Jeep Wrangler 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

My Wrangler has stopped running, my only clue to why was a very strong fuel smell at the time it stopped running, the tow truck driver said it has to be the fuel pump. What do you think?[img:ccb4862bd2]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/423281_P1010228_1.jpg[/img:ccb4862bd2]

Could be a bad O2 sensor, excessive fuel pressure (bad fuel pressure regulator or plugged return line), leaky fuel injectors, dirty air filter or restricted air inlet, or a defective coolant sensor that prevents the engine management system from going into closed loop mode
