Locked up Ignition

I can not turn the ignition key. It's as if I have the wrong key. This has happened before and I did was wiggle the ignition key and it turned. This time it will not turn. I have another cylinder lock but I can't remove the old one unless the key turns. How can I remove the cylinder lock with the cylinder locked up

the lock and key switch needs to be replaced. Big problem with jeeps
