2002 Other Jeep Models oil pressure

my 2002 jeep grand cherokee has 80000 miles on it, but the check gauges light comes on and it says that i am getting no oil pressure at all. what do you think is the reason i am not getting oil pressure and how can i fix it?

Hi there.

The first thing i would do is have the oil pressure tested with a master gauge, this will give a true indication as to engine oil pressure, you may just have a faulty gauge sender unit. Start here.
