Have a 98 Jeep GC 5.9 V8. This problem has been developing over the last few months. First, I noticed that the car would just die sometimes, usually at low idle, but a couple times just riding down the highway at 30 or so. Very dangerous. Now, it starts OK, without difficulty, but then dies if I dont keep my foot on the accelerator and baby it. If I drive away, as soon as my foot comes off the pedal, it dies. Any suggestions where to start looking?
