1995 Other Jeep Models V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

i have a 1995 Grand Cherokee Limited, V8 5.2 . The water pump had frooze on me n i got it fix n now when i put the drive belt on it come off .why is doing this n what can i do to fix it.

Double check pulley alignment.Also check the tensioner to be sure it is holding sufficient tension on thebelt.This could be a bad bearing in an idler pulley letting the belt walk off. Careful visual inspection should show what is wrong
