My 04 Liberty has a pretty bad vibration at certain MPH ranges and only on light to medium acceleration. It only does this on LIGHT acceleration. It does not do it on deceleration at all nor under pedal to metal conditions. The ranges the vibration starts out at is between 45-48mph and again at 51-53mph. The steering wheel does not shake or vibrate when this happens either. To describe it, I would compare it to driving over rumble strips on the shoulder of the road. It def. is NOT tire or wheel type shaking (ie: out of balance tires). Also, if the Jeep is in the middle of doing this and I push the OD button to "off", the RPM's increase and the vibration goes away instantly. Any idea'rs?

We're having EXACTLY the same issue with our Jeep. Did you ever find out what the problem was?
