2002 Jeep Liberty part time light will not go out

I used my 4 wheel drive then when I was done I put my manual hand stick back down into 2hi.but my parttime light stays on it feels like i am in 2wheel but some time it grips when i tuurn on a tight corner at a low speed and my gas mileage has changed.

Jeff you now think the Jeep is stuck in 4 wheel drive?
No indicator light? Check fuses first then get back to us...

If no fuses are marked, and I'm with you on that...manual I have does not show any, try unplugging the actuator at the front axle, see if it goes into 2 wheel drive, then plug it back in to see what happens...

i am brain dead i cannot find the acuator plug where is it located.there is a line plugged into the transfer case is that it
