New engine?

This isn't actually a repair question, but I am looking to buy a jeep grand cherokee lerado, the owner had his engine replaced at about 150 thous miles. he said it died. so he got a new engine and it has 54000 miles on it now, my question is, is it good to buy a car with a new engine put in, it was done proffessionally also. Im just not sure what to do.

If the motor has 54,000 on it, I wouldn't think of sweating it.

I think just like the other post response that if it has lasted for 54000 miles then it should be fine. It could have been a new engine, a rebuild like Jasper or a bottom rebuild, which for my money would be a jasper or a new one.
