Jeep GC Laredo fluid leak

I have 2004 GC Laredo 2WD 6 cyl., 50,000 miles. Recently, a dark red fluid leak is accumulating at approximately mid-vehicle driver side. Is it power steering fluid? Transmission fluid? Is it a power train componet still covered under warranty? Any help is humbly appreciated.

sounds like you have a trans fluid leak,either a line or gasket/seal. warrenty???? depends on if you have extended coverage or not and what part is leaking. ck your trans fluid and see if it is low? get it checked out .
