Ok first you do not adjust the IAC motors they are non adjustable. Second that wasn't the problems. P0505 means that there is a short to ground or battery on any one of the five IAC motor circuits. With that said I need to know if you have a digital multi meter and a test light? If so then we will go through the tests to figure out which circuit is causing your problem. Get back to me and we go from there.

Ok what needs to be done is check the IAC motor circuits. I need you to get your test light and start the vehicle and let it idle and check the circuits with a test light. You will probe each circuit at the IAC motor for 10 seconds and the test light should come on and off at each circuit. If it does then you got a bad motor if it don't then the Powertrain Control Module is bad. Let me know what you find.

You replace the pcm and you can ussually buy them from you local parts stores too. If you feel more comfortable not doing it then take to a shop that you trust and have them do it. Let me know.
