Last year I had a problem with my rear axial seals going bad and I had to replace the axial. Recently I noticed the left rear one leaking again. I was just wondering what could be the cause of those going bad so often like that?

The most common cause is just dirt. Dirt gets in and ride between the axel seal and the axel. Also jeep is know for leaks. the axel seal is a common problem there is no tsb or up date for the problem. Most of the time the rear axel shaft does not go bad unless the rear is run low on fluid. just replace the axel seal and you should be fine. If you have a dana 44 the axle barring is pressed on and in order to repace the seal the barring will have to be removed.
