The electric fan on my radiator will not turn on when the engine heats up. The hoses feel like there is coolant running through them, the fluid in the radiator is full and clean and my reservoir is correctly filled. The fan spins by hand. I replaced the fan relay switch that usually seems to be the cause of this and it did not fix the problem.
There is a small black cylindrical object on the driver's side near the firewall that has vacuum hoses and electrical conduit and a plug running from it that begins ticking quickly when it seems that the fan should turn on. I don't know what this object is but it seems to be either the issue or the thing that can lead me to the issue..
Any thoughts? Thanks.
