We are trying to remove the rear axle bearing seal- there is a sleeve before we can get to the seal- can you remove it without a press?

yes its called a retainer ring if your good with a cut off tool you can cut in to it on a vertical line dont cut all the way through after your about 80 % of the way through hit it in the cut aeria with a chisle and a hammer NOTE you will need a press to put it all back to gether
