I just got an oil change about three weeks ago. I went on a some what long trip afterwards and my car was fine. Now when I turn my car on the oil gage goes up to 40 and stays there as I drive; but when i stop or slow down my oil gage goes all the way down to 0 and my 'check gages' light goes on. I have check my oil with the dipstick and it is right at the safe line. I am not sure what can be wrong. Can it just be my gage is not correct? Can my dipstick not be reading it correctly? I am not comp. sure of what to do.
