The parts for the head gasket kit run about $120 for a good one. You have to take into account the coolant that you will need to replace, and other supplies. It took me about 8 hours to replace mine and that included working on rusting parts. I am experienced with Jeeps so it may take someone who is not familier with them a while longer. Total amount to replace head gasket including having the head rebuilt was around $375 and that was me doing it by myself and not paying someone else. The head cost over $200 to rebuild then + parts and material.
