1991 Jeep Laredo code 27

Injector control circuit-bank output driver stage does not respond properly to the control signal.

Injectors No. 1,2 or 3 control circuit and peak current not reached

I think iam learning,were is the control circuit bank driver,can this be replaced or fixed

I'm going to jump in here. I believe the item you are refering to is part of the PCM. Have you checked to make sure the wiring to the injectors is in good condition and free of corrosion at all connectors?

Thanks for your reply,besides from being older no wires are exposed,even factory tape and shields
look very good.I have power to the new injector
conformed with test light.used stethiscope on the other 5 injectors i can here them but the one is dead
I pulled the plug on the pcm/ecmand claened it
,that was dirty,still runs the same.Thanks JandN

It sounds like you made all of the general test. THe last thing to do is remove the PCM and have it checked. Something is telling me that is where the problem is coming from.

You mentioned you are getting power to the (new) injector, is there any chance it is bad? If you switch it with a different injector, does the problem follow it or still stay at the same cylender? (this is just an after tought) If it follows the injector, I would say it is bad. If it stays at the same cylender, I would blame the PCM.
