I am the owner of the vehicle listed above Arctic USA. I am forced to replace the faulty instrument cluster with another one. I managed to buy it from a car with a similar mileage in a junkyard. After connecting, the sound signal and steering wheel controls do not work. Cruise control, tachometer and speedometer work. Is it possible to connect this instrument cluster with EVIC in my car and run the buttons on the steering wheel? My model did not have instrument cluster with EVIC.

I would get the correct cluster because the CAN system depends on the cluster inputs and outputs. Here are instructions on how to replace the cluster correctly in case you need it. You can get a preprogrammed unit by searching Google or Ebay. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Thank you for your instrument cluster disassembly and replacement instructions. I know how to do it. Otherwise, I wouldn't connect to a new Instrument cluster. After connecting to the installation, the horn, radio control, computer control in the instrument cluster and the backlight of the buttons on the steering wheel do not work. Is the wiring of instrument cluster without EVIC different from that of instrument cluster with EVIC? What could I do to start a new instrument cluster?
