So we changed the heater core in our 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and once it was put back together, the car kept saying the front doors were open even though they were shut. It was acting very strange so we disconnected/shorted out the battery to reboot everything. Once it was reconnected, the radio completely reset, the interior lights won't come on at all, the car now says nothing about the front doors being open or shut and the radio stays on even though the car is off. Oh, and the power locks doesn't work, yet the power windows do! In order to lock the doors I have to use the key-fob or push them down manually. What the heck!?!? We already checked in the door underneath the rubber boot and all the wires are intact.
What else could have caused this??

Check to see if you pinched any wires when changing the heater core.
