1970 Jeep Commander Brakes do not work

I had the booster, master cylinder , and all wheel cylindrers replaced . The brake is still hard on applying and does not stop the vehicle, had the booster rebuilt and checked or leakage twice, its ok. The brake booster place tell me the wrong master cylinder is on the jeep, i have no way of checking which one is the right one , because after the replacement , the old one got thrown away. What master cylinder goes on the Jeepster commando 1970? Hope u can help thanks

Hard brake pedal could be caused by the brake booster check valve, leaking vacuum hose and overall low engine vacuum

My original question was what master cylinder goes on the jeep?? The check valve you mentioned was checked twice and holds pressue. I found out there is suppose to be a distance of 1/32 between the brake booster and the plunger for the master cylinder, Thanks again

I've looked into Mit1 and Alldata professional references and no available information or my library concerning your year and model for the brake master cylinder as far as part number-nothing

Have you tried adjusting the brake booster pushrod? If so and clearance is still off, I'm sorry this is as far as I can take you-Request for refund as you wish

If you don't adjust the pushrod properly it will cause the clearance problem-

As i stated before , we did adjust it to 1/32 for the clearance. The brake is hard and will not stop the vehicle . But thanks anyway, refund my donation
