i've replaced carburator, spark plugs,wires, distributor cap, rotor. i put a new engine in and still have problems. the engine will backfire and won't run. i've had a mechanic ajust carb., still backfires. went i disconnect plug on back of carburator, it seems to run ok. could this be a problem with the computer or how can i check to see if its an electicral problem? is there a way to check the computer system or do that model and year have a computer system for the engine?
