1984 Jeep CJ7 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

how do i check the ELETRONIC IGNITION MODULE to determine if its bad.



Heres what happened to my friends jeep.
He was driving home from work and it all of a sudden backfired and wouldn't start up again. we replaced all the spark plugs,the coil,and the electronic ignition module. checked all the wires and connections. and it still wont get spark. Do you have anymore advise?

I crave CJ repairs. Investigate CJ 5, CJ 7 posts that are recent ! You yourself cannot test it. Unless you work at Autozone or Advance Auto. They will test it for FREE. From experience, once the guy there figures out the hook-up. Have him/ her run the test 5-7 times....if it fails ONCE. REPLACE IT ! ! ! TEST THE NEW ONE, THE SAME WAY BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE ! ! !
