91 Jeep Cherokee Limited, 129k miles.
As I was driving my jeep around, the power steering belt came off...I take it to my local mechanic, and he says that the reason the belt came off is that the water pump has gone bad, and seized up. He then proceeded to show me the pump, and how its supposed to turn, and how it wasnt turning, and why the belt had slipped off because of it.
my question is this...is what he telling me accurate?...becuase for some reason my bulls*** radar is going off...
