i have a 94 cherokee, 4wd, 4 litre with about 160k miles. i am replacing the throw-out bearing and the clutch/pressure plate. i have discovered that the pilot bearing has completely disintegrated and the race is fused to the inside of the crank. i have tried dry ice to contract the race, but it will not budge. any suggestions?

Pack it with grease and find the correct size pilot driver/rod and bang on it it'll come off. That's the old school
