Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 1994 200K

Hearing a groaning and having a little jerky/rough steering when going slow. Its a slow, intermittent groan like playing a bent record, kinda going "woop woop woop." only on right hand turn. Recently had the rear diff replaced, said they didnt need to do the transfer case.

Do a good visual inspection to be sure nothing is rubbing the tires on right turn. Also inspect suspension for any rubbing or obstruction. If intermittent, could be the pump. That have rack and pinion or steering box? cant remember

I checked the wheel housing on all four, doesnt seem to be anything in the way. You think it could be the suspension? I had the brakes done recently, and the suspension was mentioned, but not on any kind of urgent basis, just that it would be "better for the ride"

The only thing not "urgent" on a suspension is shocks.
Find out what they saw and get back to me. Is there any uneven tire wear?

The report says shocks only. The wife confirms it, so it must be golden. The left rear has some wear on the outer edge from when it had a slow leak a little while back. (we got a long commute)

Must be golden.LOL Did you hapen to check if it was rack and pinion or steering box? Racks tend to start doing strange things like this when they are going out.
