I am having a problem removing the old lifts for the rear lift gate on my 1995 Grand Cherokee. I purchased new ones from the auto shop and the install directions state that the part attached to the lift gate has a pin screw, but mine doesn't unscrew. I was able to remove the portion attached to the jeep body easily by removing the pin but does anyone know what I need to do to remove the other portion?
