Knocking on start up

I just bought a 2004 Jeep Grand cherokee two weeks ago, ran fine for two weeks. Now when I start it up it knocks really loud for a couple of seconds. it only has 20,000 miles on it! any help would be great

were did u buy it from?? dealer, private party? Id bring it back and have them worry about it.. uv only had it for to weeks.. sounds like its not holding any oil in pump at start-up causeing knocking..until oil gets pushed back through engine.. but get it fixed before u have a new paper weight sitting in yard..
