I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I just serviced the automatic transmission. After replacing the 2 filters and the gasket, I buttoned it all up and put in fresh fluid, ATF 4+.
I was able to drive about 5 miles and now the transmission does not engage. If I put it in gear nothing happens. (All forward and reverse. Not 4 wheel drive as well.) I am getting a 0700 error code on the display. This code is a general transmission error code, from what I can tell. Fluid level is correct. Could the new filter be plugged or clogged up?
Cannot figure out what is going on! Help!
