1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 104,000 miles. I had the emissions recall service conducted at the local Jeep Dealer and then I got a whole list of 'repairs' they claim I need. I have stopped using the dealer because they always find something expensive that needs to be done. Here is one item that I found odd. They said that the ignition wire(s) have dates on them and the date is original to the time I purchased the car. They told me that it should have been changed with the 30,000 tune-up and others after that, to be sure it's in good working order. My mechanic at my regular place said that's just not true.
