Anytime water from either a heavy rain or cleaning gets under the hood, the CHECK ENGINE ligh comes on.

I have taken in the car for repairs and they replaced the ignition switch, but the problem keep occuring.

Any thoughts?

Hi there,

Have you had any work done on the engine electrics, often when sensor plugs are removed there is a small rubber seal in the plug that does two things, help keep water out and ensures a sung tight fit for the plug, if one of these seals is missing this can be your problem, what codes are set in the ECU?
